I’ve ordered takeout a couple of times from this place and both times had issues with pickup. First time they didn’t even receive my order even though it was confirmed on DoorDash, so I had to wait 30 minutes for them to make it. Total waste of time. Next visit, they didn’t have my order ready until 40 minutes past the original pickup time. This place is never super busy either, so I’m not sure why they consistently drop the ball on orders. To top it off, the albacore roll I received this go around looked like it had been slapped together in 20 seconds — chunks of tuna spilling out of the rice, jammed in without any care whatsoever. It was the most pathetic sushi roll I’ve ever had. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Best sushi in all the valley. I have lived here for 42 years. The price is great too. Super massive portions. The salmon roll is stacked with salmon. I come here at least once a week. It’s my favorite sushi spot. Hidden gem 🫶

We’ve been coming to this sushi spot regularly, and every single time we make sure to sit at the bar, because that’s where Ben is. Ben isn’t just a sushi chef, he’s an artist. You can genuinely feel the love and passion he puts into every single dish he prepares. It’s not just about the food (which is absolutely incredible), it’s about the care, attention, and pride he brings to every plate. That energy translates directly into the flavor, you can taste the difference. What really sets him apart is how much he truly cares about his customers. He takes the time to connect, to make sure everything is perfect, and to create an experience, not just a meal. Sitting at the bar and watching him work is something special. Amazing service, amazing food, and most importantly, an amazing human being behind it all. Ben deserves all the recognition for the heart and soul he puts into what he does.

My husband and I tried Tomoya Sushi in Woodland Hills for the first time to celebrate his birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised! The presentation of the food was absolutely beautiful — every dish looked like it was crafted with care. The portion sizes were more than generous, which made it feel like such a great value on top of everything tasting fresh and delicious. Our server, Peggy, was attentive and personable, and she really helped make the experience special. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This was a good find! I happen to get over here during the week. The sushi chef "Ken" was entertaining very talkative and a great sushi chef. It was a nice relaxing evening the place wasn't too crowded parking was easy and the mail for two of us was around $100. I will go back! They had a very nice variety of rolls. The albacore spicy sashimi was delicious.
