Eating Your Way Down Ventura Boulevard

Updated 2026-08-30

Ventura Boulevard is the closest thing Woodland Hills has to a main street, and it rewards walking a few blocks at a time. Park once, eat three times, and finish with coffee.

Start late-morning, not at noon

Kitchens along the boulevard fill up between 12 and 1:30 with the lunch crowd from nearby offices near Warner Center. Arriving around 11am means shorter waits and full menus.

Split plates and keep moving

The point of the boulevard is variety. Order one plate per stop, split it, and drive or walk to the next storefront. Three stops across a mile or two is a comfortable afternoon.

Save room for Topanga Social

The food hall at Westfield Topanga is worth treating as its own stop — a dozen counters under one roof, good for splitting dessert or grabbing something quick before a movie.

Park once, eat in small plates, and treat the whole boulevard as one long menu. Check the directory for current hours before heading out.
